ABOUT THE COURSE
5-day professional course designed for Assistant Instructors to become Instructors.
Minimum age is 18 years old.
IKO Assistant Certification.
IKO Level 4 Advanced (Jump with grab, jump transition, ride toeside, ride upwind, recover a board and a rider in deep water, self-rescue in deep water, self-launch and self-land). You can bring a video of yourself wearing safety equipment demonstrating riding skills in case of lack of wind.
Valid First Aid Certificate (MFA or equivalent). Online certificate not accepted.
5-day course with an Examiner.
The Instructor certification when you demonstrate the required level.
IKO Plus Membership with professional and recreational liability insurance. Once you are certified, your membership will be updated and valid for one year from the course start date.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
LANGUAGE : The course will be conducted in both English and Portuguese, so participants can join even if they only speak one of the languages.

ATC Module 1 eLearning materials and manual.
ATC Module 2 In Person-Training at an IKO Center (5 days).
