Jericoacoara, or "Jeri," is a picturesque village in Ceará, Brazil, renowned for its natural beauty and vibrant local culture. While the main beach in Jericoacoara is not suitable for kitesurfing due to the geographic location, presence of other water sports and beachgoers, excellent kitesurfing conditions can be found nearby, particularly in Prea and other surrounding areas. One of the standout attractions in Jericoacoara is Pedra Furada, a natural stone arch on the beach that creates a stunning photo opportunity, especially during sunset.

Access to Jericoacoara is typically via 4x4 vehicles from the nearby town of Jijoca de Jericoacoara, due to the sandy terrain that surrounds the village. This somewhat challenging journey adds to the adventure of visiting Jeri, making it feel like a hidden paradise. To reach Jericoacoara from Fortaleza, you can take a direct 4x4 transfer, a shared shuttle, or a bus to Jijoca de Jericoacoara followed by a 4x4 transfer for the final leg of the journey.
